Happy birthday!

The cactus has been wearing that hat since ten this morning and has not once looked pleased about it. Neither of us is leaving until you celebrate properly. Only one of us is capable of a hug, and I am on my way.

Prickly but sincere,

This is my

party face.

(Happy birthday. I mean it.)

A funny birthday card: a deadpan cactus in a party hat refuses to move while confetti, balloons and a party horn go off around it.
