Happy Birthday!

Nothing in the grown-up world has ever quite matched the sound of that AV cart squeaking through the classroom door — the wheels, the dangling cord, the sudden knowledge that the worksheets were over. I still think of that feeling when I think of you. I want this whole year to roll in the same way: unexpected, a little noisy, and obviously a great day. Happy birthday. May it be movie day, all year.

With love (and extra popcorn),

it's going to be

a great day.

(a tv just wheeled in. lights off, everyone.)

It's Going to Be a Great Day funny birthday card: an old TV on a rolling cart in a party hat, with popcorn and a remote

About this card

An old boxy TV on a black rolling cart wears a red polka-dot party hat on a cream page, with a striped tub of popcorn on one side and a remote on the other. The lettering reads "it's going to be a great day." with the reason underneath: "(a tv just wheeled in. lights off, everyone.)" The cart rolls in, the screen flickers on and the popcorn pops. It is a movie night funny birthday card for a teacher, an old classmate or any friend who still gets excited when the TV cart appears. Add their name and your message inside, choose music or your voice, and send it by email or text now or on their birthday.
