No ads, ever
Your invitation is the only thing your guests see — no banners, no pop-ups, nothing sponsored crowding the moment.
Kept private
Some celebrations are nobody else's business — a surprise party, a private milestone. Add one shared password and only the people you give the code to can open the invitation. Everyone else meets a gentle lock screen. And there are no ads on your page, ever, and your guest list is never sold.

The gate
Set a single password and share it however you like — a text, a line in your message, a quiet word. Anyone who opens your invitation link first meets a lock screen asking for it; the right code lets them straight through to RSVP as normal, and the wrong one simply asks them to try again. It's a warm gate for casual privacy, keeping the invitation from opening for anyone who stumbles on the link.
How to lock it
In Password & Capacity, choose the code you'd like and save. The gate is live immediately — and stored securely, never as plain text.
Because it's the same for everyone, pass it along your own way. InviteBird deliberately keeps it out of the invitation itself, so guests only have it from you.
Clear the password and save to open the invitation up again, or change it any time. You can always view the current code from your dashboard.
A little privacy isn't secrecy — it's just the difference between a party for your people and a party for the whole internet.
Private by default
Your invitation is the only thing your guests see — no banners, no pop-ups, nothing sponsored crowding the moment.
Your guest list stays yours. There are no advertising cookies and InviteBird doesn't sell your data — analytics are optional and you can decline them.
Your event isn't posted to any public gallery or directory. The only way into the invitation is the link you hand out — and the password, if you set one. Your photo album has its own separate privacy setting.
Export a complete copy any time, or delete your account and everything in it. Your event password is never included in an export — secrets don't travel.
Mind the door
Privacy is about who gets in; capacity is about how many. Set a maximum headcount right beside the password and RSVPs close themselves the moment you're full — later guests can register interest instead, so you have a ready list if a seat opens. Two gates, one place: who's invited, and how many the room can hold.
Just for your list
Lock the page behind a single code — your event stays for invited guests and no one else.

Common questions
No. The lock screen is just the password — no sign-up, no login. Once a guest enters the right code, they RSVP as normal, and their device remembers the unlock for about a week.
No, it's one shared code for the whole event, which you share however suits you. If you need to know exactly who opened the invitation, the delivery and open tracking on your Guests tab is the better tool.
Any time. Clear it and save to open the invitation up again, or change it whenever you like. You can view the current password from your dashboard so you never have to remember it.
No. It's included on every event at no extra cost — as is the maximum-capacity cap that sits beside it.
No, on both counts. Your guests see only your event — no ads, no pop-ups — and your guest list is never sold. There are no advertising cookies, and any analytics are optional for you to accept or decline.
It's stored securely and never kept as plain text. Think of it as a light gate for casual privacy — it keeps the invitation from opening for anyone who stumbles on the link, rather than bank-grade security for highly sensitive information.
