About this design
A hand-painted watercolor baby shower invitation for the newest little sunshine. The page opens on a lemon-grove scene: golden citrus and white blossoms drift over a soft sage ground, while a flowing script monogram carries the honoree name in elegant calligraphy above a fresh citrus-pulp countdown band. The invitation itself arrives on a cream press-plate mat with a sage double hairline and lemon-bud corners, so the card reads as a physical keepsake resting on the watercolor canvas. Every detail row is stamped in the grove own ledger: date, time, venue, dress code, and parking each carry a hand-drawn citrus glyph from a single commissioned icon family drawn at one stroke weight, so the whole page reads as one authored hand. The countdown ticks in lemon-slice badges whose digits slide upward on every change, while golden pollen rises and blossom petals fall around the page in a slow, sunny drift. The reply closes the story on a deep sage ink panel: a lemon-slice wax seal, a dashed stamp row, and a solid lemon reply button that lifts when hovered, with a watercolor bunny holding the reply banner as the signature moment. Lettering pairs an elegant flowing script with a clean geometric sans, keeping the paper voice sunny and uncluttered. Every ornament is a drawn SVG: the garland vine, the hanging lemon tags on the twine seam, the corner leaves, the section seals. The palette stays true to the card: golden lemon, cream paper, sage green, and white blossom, with the page ground taken from the card own painted background so the invitation and its page share one world. The design works across phones and desktop, keeps every detail row readable at a glance, and honors the quiet, joyful register of a baby shower without ever shouting.
