About this design
Send guests back to the sweetest decade with this 1950s soda-fountain birthday invitation. The card is set on warm cream paper in a retro diner palette of cherry red, soda-teal and ink black: the honoree's name is lettered in a bold red retro script, while the age takes center stage as a giant outlined slab-serif numeral the page then re-sets in its own voice above the card, finished in red outline with a teal offset shadow and a slow neon pass. Around the card, the page builds a full sock-hop scene: checkered bunting, drifting vinyl record motes, neon sign bulbs and drawn music notes over a checkered-floor diner backdrop. The countdown arrives as one admit-one ticket strip, the party details read like a stamped soda-fountain order check with a commissioned icon set, and the RSVP lands on a dark red vinyl booth with a checkered seat seam and a flat cream reply button. Perfect for a 7th birthday, a poodle-skirt party, a rockabilly bash or any retro kids' celebration, this invitation personalizes in minutes — swap the name, date, time and venue, let guests RSVP right on the page, and add a calendar reminder or directions with one tap. Hosting at home? The diner lives on the page, never in the copy. All it needs is a few scoops and the jukebox warmed up.
