About this design
This hand-illustrated red bow birthday invitation is a study in restraint with a single joyful pop of color: stark white paper, ink-black typewriter lettering and one large crimson bow tying the whole design together. The lettering is set in a hand-drawn typewriter serif with a gentle ink bleed, giving every line a personal, stamped-by-hand feel — the kind of invitation that reads as a keepsake before the party even happens.
It is built for the 8th birthday of a little one who loves tea parties, treats and being the center of attention — or for any milestone where a classic black-and-white look with one bold accent hits the right note. The tea-party mood carries through the details, from the countdown that brews toward the big day to the RSVP bow that ties up the reply.
The matching guest page carries the gift-box world onto the screen: a framed botanical invitation mat with corner flourishes, drifting ink motes and petals in the card's palette, a typewriter countdown that rolls forward if the date has passed, and an RSVP stage with a hand-drawn bow banner above the reply button.
Sending the invitation includes everything a host needs: event date, time and venue rows, a dress code and parking note, a live countdown, directions and add-to-calendar buttons, and a one-tap RSVP reply. Hosts can personalize the honoree's name, age, date and location in minutes, then share the link with guests.
A practical hosting tip: set the RSVP-by date a week before the party so the tea cups — and the guest list — are ready on the day.
