About this design
Step up to the plate for a rookie-season baseball baby shower drawn entirely in chalk. The invitation sets the honoree's name in big dusty blue varsity letters on a deep slate chalkboard, framed by a scalloped chalk border and topped with a hand-lettered Rookie Season banner, just like the scoreboard at a hometown ballpark. Hand-drawn chalk stars, a baseball and a well-loved bat fill the corners, while a soft chalk-dust grain keeps every line smudged, warm and hand-made. The guest page carries the theme through every inning. A first-pitch announcement opens the page in varsity lettering, a ghosted chalk watermark repeats the honoree's initial on the board behind it, and a scoreboard strip counts down the days, hours, minutes and seconds until the first pitch. A game-day lineup lays out the date, first pitch time, venue, dress code and parking like a dugout manifest, each row marked with its own little chalk icon, and a note from the hosts reads like a locker-room speech. The page closes with a reserve-your-seat block: a home-plate seal, a ticket-stub styled button and a reminder of the first pitch, so guests can join the roster in a single tap. Dusty blue, chalk white and slate green run from envelope to RSVP, giving the whole set one coherent varsity voice.
