About this design
Throw a party that feels as light as a balloon with this watercolor balloon-animal birthday invitation. The card is drawn in soft watercolor pastels — pink, baby blue and lilac — with a flowing script honoree name, a clean spaced serif birthday line and a delicate italic tagline about a day full of giggles. A hand-painted balloon dog and pastel balloons float across a pale sky, all on a crisp white ground.
The guest page keeps that watercolor painting as the ground, then layers a quiet balloon-print trellis, a balloon-dog straddling the taped card's corner, and a helium-balloon countdown whose cells bob and squeeze as the seconds tick. Event details use a commissioned balloon-icon family, a sewn bunting seam sways between sections, and the reply closes with a colour-arriving balloon over a soft pink panel.
This template suits a first, second or third birthday, a toddler party, or any pastel children's celebration. The honoree's name, age, date, venue and host message are all personalizable, so the same balloon-animal artwork adapts to any child and any party. The design is mobile-first, prints beautifully, and ships with the full watercolor card art included.
Hosting tip: for a toddler party, send the invite three weeks out and set the RSVP-by date a week before the big day — the helium countdown gives little guests something to check with their parents every morning.
