About this design
This rocking horse baby shower invitation takes its cue from a classic nursery: fine terracotta line art of a wooden rocking horse, a calligraphy honoree name with long elegant swashes, and warm soft-peach paper. The guest page restates the card's world as structure — a nursery mobile with moon, star and cloud charms lowers over the name, the matted card rocks once when tapped, and a hoofprint seam carries the motif between sections. The countdown runs in a deep terracotta band, the card's own clay colour deepened into a field, with solid cream digits and a slow rotating glint.
The reply is the climax: a storybook curls open to a terracotta reply card where the rocking-horse seal draws itself in fine line art, and a pressed-stamp reply button closes the page on the same warm clay. Lettering pairs Great Vibes calligraphy for the name with Cinzel spaced caps for every label and title, and EB Garamond italics for the quiet body copy, so the invitation reads like vintage minimalist stationery rather than a template.
It suits parents-to-be planning a warm, elegant shower with a nursery or rocking-horse theme, hosts who want a digital invitation with a live countdown and online RSVP, and anyone whose celebration leans soft and classic. Every date, venue and detail row hydrates with the host's own event information, so the template personalises for any city and any season.
Hosting tip: send the invite three weeks out and set the RSVP-by date a week before the shower — the countdown band gives guests something to check on the way to the party.
