About this design
This tropical beach party invitation pairs a flowing calligraphy name line in soft dusk rose with a tall, high-contrast serif occasion line, echoing classic watercolor stationery from the card art itself. The palette is the card's own: sage green and pale mint foliage against blush pink flamingo and hibiscus blooms, painted in loose watercolor washes that bleed gently past the frame. The name line is set in a script calligraphy face with long flourishes, while the occasion reads in a refined serif — a romantic, breezy register that suits a summer celebration for two hosts. Motif details carry the theme throughout: scallop shells, palm fronds, tide lines and a drawn shell seal on the reply card. The page presents the invitation on a deckled paper mat with a scallop seam, washi tapes and corner fronds, over a soft watercolor ground with drifting sea-glass motes. The countdown runs as a single tide strip, the details read as a tide chart with drawn icons for time, venue, dress and parking, and the reply section closes on a deep sage panel with a shell seal. Printed on cream textured stock, this design suits a flamingo-themed beach party, a tropical couples' celebration, or any watercolor summer event where soft pastel stationery is the look — pair it with linen napkins and citrus centerpieces for the full seaside feel.
