About this design
This birthday invitation is drawn straight from a crayon box. The card opens with the honoree's name in big hand-drawn red letters, set above a rainbow of crayon strokes in gold, sky blue, and green. The playful art-class mood carries onto the guest page, where four upright crayons in a tray count down to the party, each one wrapped in its paper band with a pointed tip. Gold suns, red stars, and fluffy blue clouds drift up the page like a child's drawing come to life, while hand-scribbled seams separate each section and a wax-crayon grain lies over the whole scene to keep the hand-made feel. Detail rows are drawn as doodles too: a calendar, a clock, a map pin, a reply envelope, a smock, and a traffic cone, each with the same squiggly underline. The RSVP closes the page with three crayon characters bobbing over the reply button, so the invitation reads as one continuous art class from the first letter to the final stamp. The crayon rainbow scheme suits a young child's birthday, a school art party, or any celebration where bright and playful beats formal. It works for boys and girls alike, and the simple crayon motifs mean the honoree's own name and colors can be personalized without breaking the design. Guests see the full scene on any phone: the identity opens the page, the card hangs in a washi-taped frame, and every section stays legible against the ruled paper background. For hosts, the crayon countdown doubles as a keepsake the family can color in together, and the bright ground keeps the invitation cheerful in a dark inbox.
