About this design
Preheat the oven and roll out the frosting — this hand-drawn little-chefs birthday invitation turns a party invite into a page from a kid's kitchen notebook. The card is scribbled the way a four-year-old would scribble it: a big crayon-orange numeral, a smiling chef hat, a butter-yellow balloon and a wooden spoon, every shape filled with waxy parallel strokes and outlined in thick black crayon that happily ignores the lines. Around the card, the guest page keeps the story going on warm cream paper. Fredoka display lettering pairs with Caveat hand-lettered kickers and Quicksand body text, every coloured field is an outline with crayon hatch inside it, and hard-offset shadows stamp each panel down like a recipe card. The party particulars sit on a ruled index card with highlighter swipes behind the details, the countdown is drawn straight onto the paper while a ghost PREHEAT breathes behind it, the family note lands on a torn scrap of brown paper, and the reply card is the one field coloured all the way in — orange wax, scattered sprinkles, a butter sticker ring around the RSVP pill and two smiling tools leaning in from the edges to watch for your answer. Sprinkle confetti drifts up through the whole page, the whisk seam draws itself as you scroll, and the card itself presses in like a sticker when you touch it. Swap in your own party date, venue and RSVP details and every slot updates at once — the map, the directions link, the add-to-calendar button and the oven-timer countdown included. Everything stays crisp on a phone, a tablet or a laptop, and the whole page takes minutes to personalise. It is made for cupcake-decorating parties, cookie-baking afternoons, junior chef cooking parties and any little one who loves aprons, whisks and messy hands.
