About this design
A birthday invitation drawn in bright crayon: a happy green frog perched on its lily pad, a big grass-green number two with a black outline, and a sky-blue balloon floating over the corner of clean white paper. The page around the card is a little pond scene — bubbles drift up from the bottom of the screen, lily pads sway on their own current, tadpoles wiggle across the water, and hand-drawn frogs, cattails and lotus flowers doodle their way down the margins. The invitation card sits in a taped sketch frame with green corner brackets while a frog peeks up from below the frame, nudges once to say hello, and wobbles happily when tapped. A pond-ripple seam draws itself beneath the card like a stone just dropped in the water. The detail rows read as a pond log with a commissioned frog-world icon family — a lily-pad calendar for the date, a frog clock for the time, a cattail pin for the venue — and the countdown counts the lily pads in four stamp-perforated cells. The RSVP is a dashed pond ticket with a bouncing frog mascot, a stamped green reply button and a row of little club stamps. Set in Pacifico, Gochi Hand and Fredoka, the page keeps the card's hand-drawn crayon voice from the first bubble to the last hop.
