About this design
Celebrate a sixth birthday with a crayon-colored invitation that reads like the inside of a storybook. The honoree's name is set in Grand Hotel, the same elegant brush script the card itself carries, while the turning-six numeral is drawn in a chunky rounded face and finished with an orange-to-pink crayon foil. Every word on the page, from the you-are-invited chip to the join-us lead and the squeak ghost behind the identity, is written in Gochi Hand, the card's own handwritten invitation voice, and the section kickers keep their Caveat crayon cursive. The page is built as a crayon box: the invitation sits in an offset pink frame taped at the corners, a crayon-drawn hamster peeks over the card's edge, and the countdown counts down in four upright crayons with pointed tips and wrapper bands. Waxy paper grain and a subtle turbulence filter give every scribbled seam and star the white gaps real crayons leave behind, and a field of crayon dots drifts up the screen. The details read like a hamster field guide, a calendar with a wheel, a clock with whiskers, a den marker, a seed-stamped envelope, each badge wobbling gently like a drawn doodle. The RSVP closes the page as a perforated ticket: a pressable crayon stamp rings on tap, the hamster mascot bobs above the reply, and the pink reply button sits solid and flat, ready to color in.
