About this design
This hippo pond birthday invitation floats a watercolor hippo on still pond water for a gentle second birthday — fireflies rise at dusk over the band of water, reeds and cattails frame the edges, and the big two takes its place in a hand-drawn headline. The guest page carries the same watercolor world: the invitation sits in a soft-embossed glass frame with washi-tape corners, firefly motes glow and drift over the pond band beneath it, sparkles twinkle around the headline flourish, and the party details read as translucent cream cards with soft shadows and hand-drawn icon badges. A live countdown ticks toward the big day inside warm tinted cells, and the RSVP closes as the page climax — a deep sage panel with a hippo mascot, a breathing gold pill button and a reed-bundle divider. The palette stays true to the card — sage, sandy gold and soft water tones on warm cream paper — so invitation and page read as one afternoon by the pond. It fits a second birthday, a pond or lake theme, a toddler party, or any child who loves animals and the outdoors. The digital invitation includes a built-in countdown, a location map, add-to-calendar links and an RSVP form with yes, no or maybe options, so hosting a pond kids party starts with a one-click send. The page personalizes in minutes: swap the name, date and venue, then share the link by text or email. A blanket, a few inflatable lily pads and a hippo piñata will match the card effortlessly.
