About this design
Heavy machinery takes over this construction birthday party invitation. A giant outlined numeral 2 anchors the card while an excavator, a dump truck piled high with dirt and a steamroller parade across the front in chunky sticker-book style. Under Construction lettering, a lone safety cone and a bright job-site palette of yellow, orange, olive and charcoal give the whole design the feel of a hard hat zone that kids can almost hear beeping. The guest page carries that same site energy through every zone: caution-stripe banners, a punched site-permit stub with a crew monogram seal, color-blocked section cards, a blueprint-dot ground and golden dust motes drifting like afternoon sun on the job site. The dump-truck mascot waits at the RSVP stop and tips its bed when the crew signs off, while the hard-hat countdown ticks out the days until digging starts. Every line on the card — the Under Construction headline, the turning-two line, the date, time, site and reply-by rows — is a live slot, so parents can swap the details in minutes without touching a single drawing. Drawn for the family of a toddler who points at every digger on the street, it works as a dump truck party invitation, a digger birthday theme or any construction party that ends with cake and dirt cups. Send it and the invitation reads like the crew's very own stamped site permit, approved for one very loud day.
