About this design
This third birthday invitation is built on a pun and a cub: Wild and Three. The card art is a soft watercolor leopard cub sitting wide-eyed beside an oversized number three, with a dusty rose ribbon tied to the numeral and watercolor wildflowers framing the cream paper. The matching guest page answers to the same hand-painted world — the honoree's name in flowing calligraphy, a cream vellum mat with terracotta and rose hairlines, drifting pollen and leaves, and field-notes details set with a drawn icon family of calendars, clocks, blooms and paw prints.
It is made for a three-year-old who loves wild animals, for safari and jungle-print birthday parties, and for parents who want a birthday invite that feels soft and storybook rather than loud. The palette of terracotta clay, sage olive and dusty rose suits a garden party at home, a park picnic, or a small family celebration. The invitation includes an online RSVP so guests can answer yes, no, or maybe in one tap, a live countdown that keeps the whole family counting toward the big day, a location block with a map and directions for out-of-town grandparents, and an add-to-calendar button so the party lands on every guest's phone.
A practical tip for third birthday hosts: keep the party short and sensory — an afternoon party around two o'clock with flower crowns, hide-and-seek, and one sweet treat table gives little guests plenty of wonder without the meltdown. The cream background and watercolor art photograph beautifully on phones, so the invitation doubles as a keepsake after the party.
Every detail is editable online before you send, so the name, date and venue are personalized in minutes, wherever the wild ones meet.
