About this design
Hee-Haw! This watercolor donkey birthday invitation brings the barnyard straight to the mailbox. A smiling grey donkey stands on a patch of grass while three white daisies grow right off the golden number three, all painted in soft watercolor washes over warm cream parchment. The card pairs a flowing script for the honoree's name with a chunky rounded display numeral, and the whole palette stays in gentle cream, chocolate brown and mustard gold tones that read as cozy and friendly rather than loud. It is a natural fit for a first, second or third birthday for a little one who loves animals, farm visits, hayrides and all things barnyard — and the handwritten-style wording keeps the invitation feeling personal instead of printed. The matching guest page carries the same watercolor world: a punched paddock-pass frame around the card, a stamp-strip countdown, daisy-dotted details and a dark barn-gate RSVP panel where the donkey mascot holds the reply banner. Hosts get every expected piece with this template: a countdown to the party date, a full details section covering date, time and venue, an embedded map with directions, a reply form guests can fill in directly, and space for extra party features. For a small child's party, sending the invitation three to four weeks ahead gives families time to mark the date, and a quick reminder note a week before works wonders. Whether the party happens at home, a family farm or a rented hall, the donkey and daisies set the mood without locking the location — the card art is pure theme, ready for any venue.
