About this design
A cheerful yellow bulldozer, painted in loose watercolour with a little face in its cab window, pushes a hand-painted numeral across a field of cream parchment. The name above it is oversized calligraphy in burnt orange, arched over a typewriter serif line, and the whole composition sits on soft dirt mounds with a striped traffic cone tucked into the corner. Nothing is vector-crisp here — the edges bleed, the pigment pools, and the palette stays in warm earth: construction yellow, burnt orange, chocolate brown and dusty tan on cream. It reads as nursery art first and a party invitation second, which is exactly why it survives being stuck to a fridge for a month.
It is built for a toddler's birthday and is at its best as a first, second or third birthday invitation for a child who has strong opinions about diggers. It suits a digger birthday party, a truck-and-tractor theme, a dig-and-build afternoon, or any celebration where the family wants a watercolour construction birthday invitation rather than a bright cartoon one. The painted numeral is the focal element, so it re-skins cleanly to whatever age you are marking.
Sending it as a digital toddler birthday invitation with RSVP means replies come back in one tap and the list keeps itself. Headcounts update as people answer, meal and allergy notes arrive attached to the reply, reminders go out before the day, and a shared photo album collects everyone's pictures afterwards. The birthday Essentials suite adds the extras a small party actually uses, and a matching thank-you card is ready when the day is done.
One hosting tip for this age group: ask for the child's age in the RSVP, not just a headcount. A guest list that mixes eighteen-month-olds with five-year-olds needs two different activity tables and two different snack plans, and you would much rather discover that a week early than at eleven in the morning with a dozen toddlers already arrived.
