About this design
This pastel watercolor pinwheel invitation opens a soft and whimsical birthday world: a giant rainbow number 7 in watercolor block lettering, a lowercase calligraphy name with long gentle flourishes, and a row of hand-painted pastel bunting flags strung across the top of the card. The palette is a nursery-soft rainbow — blush pink, mint, butter yellow and sky blue — washed over clean white paper, so it feels like a soft watercolor scene in full bloom without ever being loud. The headline Whirl Into Seven and the turning-seven theme make it perfect for a seven-year-old's birthday, whether the celebration is a pinwheel parade, a flower-pressing afternoon, a tea party on the lawn, or a quiet backyard party with closest friends. The matching guest page continues the parade: a pinwheel spins at the heart of the RSVP pass, pastel petals drift down the page, the countdown sits on a lemon-yellow board with petal chips, and the details cover date, time, venue, RSVP-by, dress code and parking in one glance. Hosts can personalize the name, age, date and venue in seconds, and guests reply online with a simple yes, no or maybe. A practical tip for summer parties: string the real pinwheels along a fence or table edge where they catch the breeze, and keep a few spares — children love taking one home as a favor.
