About this design
This hand-drawn doodle birthday invitation turns the classic party invite into a page torn straight from a toddler's sketchbook. The card art itself is drawn in crayon and marker — a royal blue brush-script Birthday Bash headline, a marker-lettered name in charcoal, and the whole sheet scattered with six-point stars, a paper airplane, sunglasses and a hand-drawn flower in soft pink, golden yellow and leaf green. The guest page around it stays in that same medium: the invitation sits on ruled sketchbook paper under washi tape with the card's own corner doodles peeking over its edges, while wax-paper grain gives every panel the tooth of real drawing paper. Section titles alternate between a brush-script display face and the wide-set letterspaced caps the card itself uses, and every divider is a hand-drawn squiggle that draws itself as you scroll. The countdown reads as a strip of four sticker cells — blue, pink, yellow, green — that flare gently when the digits change, and the reply section is staged like a crayon box, with a trio of gradient-shaded crayons above a solid royal blue RSVP button framed by viewfinder corner ticks. It fits a first or second birthday, a toddler's family party, or any young child's celebration where the guest of honor still draws more than they write; the palette and hand-lettering suit both boys' and girls' parties and mix easily with rainbow, crayon, or art-studio party themes. Personalizing the template is straightforward: the name, date, time, venue and reply deadline are all single fields, and the page is mobile-first so it looks as playful on a phone as on a desktop. When you send it, the guest page includes a live countdown, a map with directions, an add-to-calendar button and a reply form with yes, no or maybe options. For a party favor idea, hand out crayon packs so guests can doodle their own thank-you notes to match the invitation.
