About this design
Fifty years is a milestone worth setting in ink. This 50th birthday invitation strips the celebration back to its most personal elements: the honoree's name in flowing Great Vibes script, a single hand-drawn striped candle, and four whimsical corner flourishes in the card's own line-art style. The design is pure black ink on stark white paper, so it reads with the quiet authority of a keepsake rather than a party flyer, while warm gold accents on the guest page echo the gilded edge of a commemorative coin. The typography is a commissioned choir drawn from the card itself: Great Vibes for the name, Allura for the Birthday headline, Cinzel for engraved-style labels, and Playfair Display for the body. Every section answers to the same object - the minted medallion - restated as a gilt frame around the card, four gold coins counting down the days, an engraved lozenge seam between sections, and a wax-sealed RSVP panel that closes the page on its most formal note. The guest page includes a live countdown, a map to the venue, directions and add-to-calendar buttons, a dress-code and parking note, and an online reply form, so nothing needs printing. It suits a black-tie dinner, a cocktail evening, or an intimate family supper for a 50th, 25th, or any milestone anniversary; hosts personalise the name, date and venue in moments. The countdown ticks automatically to the event date, so the page works the moment it is sent.
