About this design
This nautical 35th birthday invitation draws on classic coastal stationery: a hand-drawn scalloped border frames the whole card, a single lit candle with diagonal stripes balances the lower corner, and the celebrant's name is lettered in a casual upright script with expressive loops. The monochromatic palette — deep nautical blue ink on warm cream paper — keeps the design sophisticated yet approachable, perfect for an evening gathering, a dinner party, or a relaxed celebration with close friends. The guest page matches the card's hand-drawn charm with a scalloped rope border, a stamped event manifest, and a countdown, so guests can respond, find the venue, and add the date to their calendar from one link. Personalize the name, date, time, and venue in minutes and send by text or email; the invitation also prints beautifully at home. Choose this design for a 35th birthday, a milestone party, or any celebration that wants clean coastal charm without losing warmth. The blue-and-cream palette pairs easily with gold, white, or navy decor, and the wide-set serif details keep every line legible on any device. Hosts especially appreciate how the design rewords itself: swap the name, date, and venue and the same scalloped border suits a 40th, an anniversary dinner, or a retirement toast without losing its coastal character. The hand-drawn candle and four-pointed stars stay charming at any age, and the cream paper keeps printed invitations looking like a proper stationery set rather than a screen-only graphic.
