About this design
This 3rd birthday invitation is a hand-drawn sunshine doodle on warm cream paper, lettered in deep navy with teal, coral and gold accents that match the card art exactly. The page opens with a bouncy script invitation, a large geometric-sans honoree name, and the age as a coral sun-balloon co-headline above the card itself.
The invitation card is presented on a perforated sun-wheel deck: a punched paper mat with a conic ray ring that blooms once behind it, plus a gentle pointer tilt and a light that follows the cursor on desktop. Every section is themed around the card's own doodle vocabulary — suns, stars and spirals — drawn as one commissioned SVG family at a single stroke weight: six stamped detail rows (date, time, venue, RSVP by, dress code and parking) each carry a hand-drawn icon that draws itself in on scroll.
The countdown runs as a strip of four perforated sun-ticket cells with a tick reaction on every digit change, and the details, map and RSVP sections sit in sticker-style panels with sun-ray corner ticks. A star-burst seam separates the page, and the RSVP ends as the page's only deep-navy ink panel: a gold double-ruled stage with a sun medallion seal whose rim carries a travelling light, and a solid coral RSVP button.
The page is mobile-first, fully responsive from 320px, and includes a reduced-motion mode. It suits a toddler's third birthday, a sunny kids party, or any celebration where the host wants a cheerful hand-drawn feel without a formal setting. Sending is instant: guests open a live page with a countdown, a map with directions, an add-to-calendar button, and a one-tap RSVP.
