About this design
This pool party invitation template is a bright, hand-drawn summer page built for a kid's birthday that lives poolside. The card art opens inside a punched swim-club day pass — riveted corners, masking-tape ends and a perforated stub that reads Pool Pass, Admit One — so the whole page reads like the guest's admission ticket to the splash. Above the pass, the honoree's name runs in a warm orange-to-teal gradient at full display scale, with a script kicker and a small turning-age line beneath it, so the card keeps its own big lettering and the page never competes with it.
The design language is one committed motif system: a lane-ticket countdown joins the four day cells into a single admit-one strip with punch-hole separators; the event details are stamped as a pool manifest with a hand-drawn swim-ring icon family (lane arrows for the venue, a towel for what to bring, a P-plate on a post for parking); and a lane-rope seam with bobbing floats divides the sections. The RSVP ends the page as the wristband: an orange ticket panel with a perforated top edge, swim-ring stamps, a tap-ripple that answers the visitor's finger, and a solid white response button with a travelling shine.
Motion is choreographed rather than constant: the card opens with a one-shot splash-ring iris, the stub slides up and settles, the rope seam draws itself as you scroll, and only the doodle drift, bobbing props and the button's spark loop gently. A paper-grain layer and the soft photo plate give the cream ground real depth. The palette is turquoise, coral, sunshine yellow and pink on warm paper — cheerful without shouting.
It suits a child turning six, a summer birthday, a swimming-party theme or any host who wants a playful, fully-animated invitation their guests will actually tap through. Everything a host needs is already wired: a real countdown, directions and add-to-calendar buttons, six detail rows including dress code and parking, and a neutral RSVP button that works for yes, no or maybe.
