About this design
This retro 70s birthday invitation is set in warm earth tones — burnt orange, olive green and mustard on cream paper — the palette of a mid-century living room rather than a printed card. The page is styled as the anniversary single of Good Vibes Records: a kicker pill that pops in, a sunburst medallion peeking the hero, the party details set as a Side-A track list (A1 to A6), a countdown of four spinning 45 labels, and a mustard RSVP panel where the star badge pops confetti on tap. The ghost word GOOD VIBES sits outlined behind the details, drawn in the same chunky rounded lettering as the card's own headline.
It suits anyone throwing a fun milestone birthday — a 60th, 50th or a 70s-themed party of any age — where the guest of honour wants colour and character rather than formality. The hard-ink shadows and cut-paper shapes read like a poster, and the track-list layout keeps every essential detail (date, time, venue, dress code, parking, RSVP by) legible at a glance on a phone.
Every invitation includes the full guest experience: a countdown to the get-together, a location card with directions and a save-the-date calendar link, a host's personal note, and an RSVP form guests can answer with a single tap. The sunburst, wave, record and star motifs are all drawn as one family, so the page feels printed rather than assembled.
