About this design
Issue No. 30 is a thirtieth birthday invitation built like a night-edition newspaper proof. A masthead strip — issue number, paper name, night edition — opens the page above an oversized condensed display name set in Anton, followed by an italic Playfair age line and a short editorial tagline. The proof itself, the host's actual invitation card, sits mounted in the frame with drawn crop corners. Roman-numeral sections follow: i. The Particulars, a fine-print manifest of date, time, venue, dress code, RSVP deadline and parking, each row drawn with bespoke print-shop line icons; ii. a press-date countdown strip with flip-tick digits wired to the host's own date; iii. an editor's-desk note from the host; iv. the venue block with map, directions and add-to-calendar actions; and v. a black reply-slip RSVP finished with perforation seams and a rotated ISSUE NO. 30 stamp seal. The palette stays strict — black ink on warm cream paper with a single vermilion stamp accent — and the print theme is carried by registration marks, halftone dot fields, paper grain, foil-passed italic titles and cut-lines rather than illustration. Ghost watermark lettering mirrors the honoree's name at runtime, the countdown re-reads the host's date live, and every detail row fills from the host's invitation data. The design is mobile-first, accessible under reduced-motion settings, and works for any host who wants a confident, typographic milestone invitation without a theme.

Had this set up and sent to friends in about ten minutes. Everything is very intuitive.
