About this design
This seventeenth birthday invitation is a piece of soft cottagecore stationery: cream paper, a flowing monoline script name with heart-dotted i's, and a continuous scalloped border drawn around the whole composition like a hand-stitched edge. The palette stays monochromatic — warm cream and a single sage green used for the lettering, the border, and the small four-pointed sparkles that sit in the corners like hand-drawn stars. There is a tiny striped party hat tucked into the bottom corner, drawn in the same minimalist line style, which keeps the card playful without ever getting loud. The typography pairs an elegant flowing script for the honoree's name with a clean serif for the date and a classic serif for the venue block, a combination that reads like a considered letterpress piece rather than a digital template. The matching guest page carries the same hand-touched language: leaves and petals drift through the atmosphere, a sparkle draws itself in beside the name, panels wear the card's scalloped edge as a seam, and the reply panel closes the page in deep sage with a soft golden glow. Date, time, venue, RSVP deadline, dress code, and parking are all included in a clean detail list, and the page is mobile-first so the countdown, the map, and the reply card hold up on any screen. For a seventeenth birthday, an intimate afternoon party, or any celebration that wants warmth and charm over spectacle, this invitation feels like it was pressed by hand — because every detail on the page was.
