About this design
Before I Do is a bridal shower invitation built in formal monochrome: a glossy black satin bow crowns a clean ivory card, its ribbons framing the composition like a black-tie ribbon. The palette is deliberately stark — jet black ink on warm ivory paper, with soft greys carrying the shadows and depth — so every line reads with the authority of an engraved plate. The bride's name is set in Pinyon Script, an oversized formal calligraphy with dramatic flourishes, while the occasion sits above it in spaced Cinzel capitals and the headline flows in Great Vibes. The page around the card wears the same language: a black bow seal opens the mast, ghosted outlined type sits behind the details, ink hairline rules draw themselves as you scroll, and the countdown reads as an engraved black plate. The reply section is the page's climax — the only full-ink panel, finished with white double hairlines and a drawn bow seal — so the invitation ends on its most formal note. This design suits a bride who wants classic elegance: an upscale shower, a black-tie affair, or an evening gathering where the invitation should feel as considered as the party. Hosts can personalise the honoree name, date, time and venue in seconds, and the page ships with a working countdown, map directions and an add-to-calendar link already wired.
