About this design
This design is built like a page torn out of a Silver-Age comic. A jagged starburst explodes behind an oversized block numeral, ben-day halftone dots print across a newsprint-cream ground, and tapered action lines radiate outward so the whole sheet reads as motion caught mid-panel. Everything is drawn in flat comic red, hero blue and comic yellow, locked down by the heavy black outlines that give printed comic art its punch. The lettering is slanted comic block caps carrying a deep offset ink shadow, with five-pointed stars and lightning bolts scattered as accents.
It suits any child's birthday party built around capes, masks and action heroes, and it carries a milestone age beautifully because the numeral is the focal point rather than an afterthought. Hosts looking for a comic book birthday invitation, a pop art birthday invite, or a starburst number birthday invite for a first through twelfth birthday will find the layout scales to whatever digit they need. It reads equally well for an afternoon party, a movie-and-pizza night, or a costume-and-cake gathering.
Sending it brings the full InviteBird toolkit: live RSVP tracking with yes, no and maybe replies, named guest counts and plus-ones, meal and allergy notes, automatic reminders, a shared photo album after the day, a countdown that ticks down to the start time, and a matching thank-you card. Guests open a single link on their phone and answer in one tap, with no app and no account.
One hosting tip for a party this loud: put the dress code on the invitation itself. A single line asking guests to arrive in their bravest colours turns arrival into the first activity of the afternoon, and it saves you explaining the costume plan seven separate times in a group chat.
