About this design
This watercolor llama fiesta birthday invitation opens with a full fiesta landing page in the card's own pastel palette of soft lavender, sage green, peach coral and sunshine yellow. The honoree's name is set in flowing calligraphy above a papel-picado bunting canopy, and the milestone age sits inside a coral cut-paper star badge with a dashed ring that draws itself in and a masked gold light sweep around the rim. The invitation card is mounted on a cream fiesta pass with mini papel-picado flags along its top edge, tasselled corners and a gold-light caption. Below the card, the party details read like a fiesta programme with themed icons: a calendar for the date, a sun for the time, a cactus for the venue, a sombrero for the reply date, a bow for the dress code and a P-plate for parking. The countdown ticks inside four paper-flag cells joined by a hanging string, and the reply block is the page's climax — a cream panel with a hand-drawn star piñata that sways, a wheel seal and a coral RSVP button. The demo event is set at Balboa Park in San Diego, a real, family-friendly park with plenty of fiesta spirit; every name, date and venue in the template can be changed in seconds. The design fits young kids who love llamas, cacti, piñatas and southwest fiestas, and works equally well for a fiesta birthday at home or in the yard. Guests can reply, open the venue in maps and add the date to their calendar straight from the page. A useful hosting tip: hang the piñata last, after the games, so every guest gets a turn at the string.
