About this design
This hand-drawn crayon birthday invitation turns a little one's party into a page of their own artwork. The design leads with a bouncy script name in crayon red over a sunshine-yellow shadow, backed by the giant crayon numeral from the card art itself — the number every birthday kid wants to show off. A smiling parrot in red, green and gold perches at the edge, and confetti in the card's four crayon colours falls across a warm notebook-paper ground with a faint wax-grain texture.
Every detail is drawn in one crayon voice: the countdown cells are four sticky paper squares, the party details carry a commissioned icon family (a crayon calendar, a clock, a perch, a stamped envelope), section titles sit under self-drawing crayon squiggles, and the RSVP is a yellow ticket with punched notches, drawn corner marks and a red stamp-frame button that answers a tap with a ripple. On mobile, the hero parrot peeks from the corner of the invitation exactly like a drawing pinned to the fridge.
Hosts can swap in any child's name, age, date and venue — the page re-themes from the card's own artwork, so any age reads as the same piece of crayon art. The palette is fixed to the card: crayon red, parrot green, grape purple and sunshine yellow on warm cream paper. The countdown, RSVP collection, directions and calendar links work out of the box, and the whole page stays legible for guests who prefer reduced motion. Print it, share it, or pin it to the fridge — it already looks like it belongs there.
