About this design
This invitation celebrates a 60th birthday with a wink: SIX-TEA, the oversized engraved slab-serif pun that anchors the card in shimmering champagne gold against deep burgundy. The whole design is a piece of Victorian-era stationery — a double gold hairline frame with filigree corner flourishes, the honoree's name set in flowing copperplate calligraphy, and fine italic serif details in the card's traditional proportions. The matching guest page carries the same engraving shop language: the card sits in a burgundy gilt plate with double gold rules, steam curls and gold dust drift through a dark wine atmosphere, and the details are set as a printed manifesto with a drawn icon family of pocket watches, teacups, teapots and tea-tags.
It is made for someone turning sixty who loves an afternoon well spent — tea drinkers, readers, hostesses, and anyone who has known their friends a long time. The palette of deep burgundy, champagne cream and muted gold suits a formal milestone soirée, a home tea at four o'clock, or a candlelit evening with close family. The invitation includes an online RSVP so guests can answer yes, no, or maybe in one tap, a live countdown that keeps everyone counting toward the first pour, a location block with a map and directions for out-of-town relatives, and an add-to-calendar button so the date lands on every guest's phone.
A practical tip for milestone hosts: a four o'clock start is a gentle hour for guests of every age — the kettle is on, the light is kind, and the evening is still ahead. The engraved lettering and dark burgundy ground photograph beautifully on phones, which makes this invitation a keepsake guests tend to revisit after the party.
Every detail is editable online before you send, so the name, date and venue are personalized in minutes, wherever the tea is poured.
