About this design
This little birdie first birthday invitation is a watercolor keepsake built around a robin perched in a twig nest, hand-brushed in soft pink, sage green and warm cream. The card opens with the honoree's name set in flowing calligraphy against a gentle paper ground, with an oversized watercolor numeral one as the hero of the composition — the reason for the party, front and center. Sage leaves and blush blossoms frame the corners, while the date, time and venue sit in a clean, spaced serif that keeps every detail legible at a glance. The matching guest page carries the same nursery-soft palette: a cream paper texture, drifting petals and feathers, an egg-shaped countdown to the big day, and a reply section crowned by a robin and a pressed-seal medallion. It is a natural fit for baby showers, first birthdays and spring gatherings where parents want a gentle, storybook feel rather than a loud cartoon look. Because every text line is a fill-in slot, the same watercolor birdie design works for a girl or boy, a first or a second birthday, and any season. Sending is fully digital — guests receive the link, RSVP with a tap, and see a live countdown, directions and the host's own message, so there are no printed cards to chase and no addresses to collect. For hosting help, keep the guest page short and warm, add the address in the venue field so the map button works, and set a reply date a week before the party so you can plan the nest. Watercolor pastels photograph beautifully, and this palette prints well on cream card stock if you choose to print keepsakes for the family.
