About this design
This 18th birthday invitation is drawn in hand-lettered denim blue line art on warm cream paper, with a loose script name, a cluster of line-art balloons and small four-point stars scattered through the composition. The card keeps a clean monochrome palette — blue ink on cream — with a hand-drawn heart divider between the headline and the party details, giving it the feel of a personal sketch rather than a printed card.
It suits a coming-of-age celebration: an intimate gathering with cake and good conversation, a small dinner with family, or a laid-back evening with close friends. Guests open a fully interactive reply page in the same hand-drawn style — a live countdown to the party, the date, time and venue at a glance, map directions and an add-to-calendar button, plus a warm note from the host. The reply card asks for a simple yes, no or maybe, and the page closes with a handwritten sign-off.
The design works beautifully on phones, so guests can check details from anywhere, and the pale blue line art photographs well for an invitation that feels personal and calm. Pair it with matching hand-drawn place cards or a photo backdrop of balloons and the whole party keeps the same gentle, hand-made language from envelope to celebration.
