About this design
Memphis Party Time turns a thirty-fifth birthday into a flat-ink pop-art poster you can almost hear. Oversized Archivo Black lettering, a Bungee accent voice and hard offset shadows sit on crisp white paper scattered with primary-color stars, blobs, squiggles and halftone dots. The identity stack opens with the Party Time! chip, the kicker line and a layered starburst crown behind the age, then hands off to the invitation card itself, framed as a yellow sticker mat that slaps in and presses when touched. Below, the full event manifest — Friday, December 11 at 7:30 PM, 81 Brookside Way, Any City, dress code and free street parking — reads like a stamped line-up behind dashed dividers. The countdown is four sticker cells in the card's own red, blue and yellow under a giant outlined ghost 35, ticking every second toward showtime. The host note arrives as a comic speech bubble, the location card pins the spot with a bouncing map pin, and the page closes on a red sticker climax: a yellow reply pill inviting a yes, no or maybe. Bright colors are encouraged, the energy is adult and playful, and every shape, shadow and color traces back to the card's own flat-ink medium — nothing glossy, nothing borrowed from another design family.
