About this design
This watercolor woodland first birthday invitation pairs a gentle fox cub with pine sprigs and warm cream paper — a keepsake for a one-year-old's very first celebration. The design leads with a flowing copper script name over a quiet sage preheadline, backed by the card's own dusty-blue watercolor numeral. A fox cub curls up beside the closing note, pine needles drift down the page, and the cream paper carries a soft watercolor grain so the whole page reads like a page from a storybook.
Every detail is drawn in the same quiet voice: the party details carry a commissioned woodland icon family (a calendar with a pine sprig, a clock, a pine tree, a stamped envelope), section titles sit under self-drawing fox-paw trails, and the RSVP is the page's one dark panel — deep moss green with a warm copper button that answers a tap with a soft ripple. The invitation itself is framed like a keepsake, held by tan tape and crowned with drawn pine sprigs.
Hosts can swap in any child's name, age, date and venue — the page re-themes from the card's own artwork. The palette is fixed to the card: copper rust, sage green, dusty blue and cream on warm parchment. The countdown, RSVP collection, directions and calendar links work out of the box, and the whole page stays legible for guests who prefer reduced motion. Frame it, share it, or tuck it in the baby book — it already looks like it belongs there.
