About this design
For a first birthday, the whole world is brand new — and this ladybug invitation celebrates exactly that. The design is built around a single oversized numeral 1 painted in red watercolor dots, framed by soft sage leaves and blush blossoms on bright white paper. The honoree's name sits in flowing calligraphy, with the card's playful headline, One Lucky Bug, in bouncy script. The palette is a soft nursery trio: muted red, sage green, and warm ivory, so the invitation feels handmade rather than printed. The digital party page carries the same spirit: the name arrives with a gentle bloom, the invitation rests in a leaf-green mat with washi tape and self-drawing corner vines, and the countdown is struck as four spotted ladybug shells. The RSVP closes the page as the big red shell — the ladybug's own home — with a drawn ladybug seal and a bright reply button. Perfect for a first birthday party, a one-year-old's celebration, or any baby's milestone where parents want a cute, watercolor-style invitation with a garden-creature theme. Guests receive a polished digital invite with a venue map, add-to-calendar, and a live countdown, and the design personalizes in minutes — swap the name, date, and venue for a custom ladybug first birthday invitation that keeps its hand-drawn charm.
