About this design
This colorful doodle birthday invitation dresses a classic party invite in a playful marker-doodle world that stays friendly enough for any living room and bright enough for a real bash. The card art pairs a bouncy purple script Birthday Bash headline with the honoree's name set in coral lettering on warm cream paper, scattered with hand-drawn stars, heart outlines, balloons and swirls in teal, coral, gold and violet. The guest page around it lives in the same world: the invitation sits in a chunky sticker-style frame with thick ink borders, washi tape and the card's own balloon, sparkle, heart and swirl redrawn as corner props, over a cream backdrop with a polka-dot paper texture and a slow shower of confetti dots in the card's five colors. Section titles alternate between the script display face and a handwritten marker voice, with hand-drawn swirl dividers that draw themselves as you scroll, and the countdown reads as four confetti-dot circles — coral, teal, gold, purple — that flash softly when the digits change. The reply section is staged like the moment before the balloons go up: a trio of doodle-shaded balloons above a solid coral reply button, with playful stamp pills below. It suits a 9th birthday, a kids' party, or any celebration that wants color without shouting; the palette works for boys and girls alike and pairs easily with doodle, art-party, circus or rainbow themes. Personalizing is a matter of single fields for the name, date, time, venue and reply deadline, and the page is mobile-first, so it looks as festive on a phone as on a desktop. Sending it gives guests a live countdown, a map with directions, an add-to-calendar button and a yes/no/maybe reply form. A practical hosting tip: tape the printed invitations to helium balloons for delivery — they arrive already in party mood.
