About this design
This minimalist birthday invitation is drawn entirely in black ink on warm cream paper. A thin monoline script headline carries the honoree's name with the light, hand-lettered touch of a boutique stationery suite, while elegant high-contrast serif type sets the date, time and venue in clean letterspaced caps. Around the text, hand-drawn line-art balloons with visible strings and small bows float in a loose cluster, joined by scattered minimalist stars and hearts — whimsy kept deliberately quiet, so the page reads sophisticated rather than loud. The matching guest page shares the same hand: the invitation card is tied at its corners with drawn balloon strings, specks of line-art balloons drift up the warm cream ground, and every panel is finished with a single ink hairline like the card's own border. Use it for a 13th birthday, a milestone party, or any celebration that wants an understated, artful first impression. Personalisation is instant — swap the name, age, date and venue, and the countdown and RSVP details update with them. The countdown on the guest page is drawn as four line-art balloons, and the reply card closes with a self-drawn balloon pair above a solid ink RSVP button, so every part of the page answers to the card's single hand. A soft paper-grain texture over the cream ground keeps the minimalism from ever feeling flat, and the restrained palette means the design photographs well and fits any venue or colour scheme the host adds later.
