About this design
This minimalist Sweet Sixteen invitation is an exercise in restraint: the honoree's name in a hand-lettered monoline script, set in true ink black on stark white, exactly as the card prints it. The page surrounds that mark with an editorial black-and-white palette — ivory paper, quiet serif voices, and nothing louder than a hairline of muted gold. The display type comes from the card's own lettering: Mr De Haviland for the sweeping script name, Cinzel for engraved capitals, and Cormorant Garamond for the italic body. The card itself is treated as a framed artifact: it sits on an ivory mount with a double gold hairline and corner ticks that draw themselves in once, over a soft photographic ground with neutral paper grain. Four engraved ring cells count down to the evening, the details are laid out as a manifest of hairline rows, and the page closes on its only dark plate — an ink panel with a drawn gold medallion and a flat gold reply button. It suits a sweet sixteen celebration that leans modern, chic, and understated rather than glittery, and it works beautifully for a black-and-white themed party, an evening event, or a family that wants one refined invitation for a milestone birthday. Hosts can personalise every detail, from the venue to the reply deadline, and the reply form collects yes, no, or maybe in a single elegant tap. Send it as a digital invitation by email or text, or share the link on social media.
