About this design
This invitation is a loud primary-colour poster pulled like a screen print. Bright white stock carries a heavy black BIRTHDAY BASH headline, a condensed red honoree line and the party details in bold blue, framed below by flat red, blue and yellow ink splashes, sunbursts and spirals over a fine halftone grain. The guest page keeps the same press language: the card sits in a thick-ink comic frame while three printing plates — blue, yellow and red — land out of register behind it, true up, and then keep the faintest wander of a live print run. Panels are numbered like a run (Fresh Ink, Still Drying, A Note, Last Colour) and every card carries a hard offset shadow instead of a soft blur. The countdown ticks in four sticker cells on a blue panel, and the reply closes on a solid red panel where the last yellow colour is laid under the call to action. A tap anywhere drops a wet splat of ink in one of the three primaries, and a ghost of the word BASH drifts behind the card. The page includes a live countdown, a map with directions and an add-to-calendar button, a note from the host, and a simple reply ballot. Hosts can personalise the name, date, venue and reply deadline without touching the design; every detail row and the countdown update automatically.
