About this design
This felt-patch safari first birthday invitation treats every surface like a sewn-on nursery quilt. The card itself is a white clearing framed by tropical vines, hibiscus blooms and a herd of baby safari animals — monkey, toucan, elephant, lion cub and giraffe — with the honoree's name set in chunky multicolor block letters that look embroidered, each glyph a different felt color with a white running stitch. Jungle teal carries the supporting lines, hibiscus pink marks the date and reply, and sunny yellow, lavender and sky cyan pick out the stitched alphabet. The matching guest page keeps that same tropical plate at full strength and builds a patch-quilt scene on top of it: a cream felt mat with a saddle-stitch dashed border and corner buttonholes around the card, a giraffe companion peeking the mat, sewn pennant bunting as the seam, kraft supply-crate cells for the live countdown, and a dark teal reply panel where a baby elephant stands above the button gripping an RSVP banner. Typography follows the card's own lettering: Titan One for the display name, Fredoka for letterspaced kickers, Nunito for readable body copy. It is built for a first birthday, a jungle safari animal party, a felt-patch nursery celebration or any kids invitation where the motif is hand-sewn rather than watercolor wash. Hosts can change the name, age, date, time, venue, host line, dress code, parking note and reply-by date without touching the layout, and the countdown updates itself the moment those details change. Guests answer Yes, No or Maybe from the page, get directions from a live map and add the date to their calendar in one tap. The suite also includes a matching thank-you card and printable signs in the same stitched-animal world. Practical hosting tip: print a few extra felt-patch name stickers for the welcome table so arriving toddlers can pick an animal and find their seat before the first roar.
