Some moments deserve the whole room. When you reveal the trivia answers, put up the predictions scoreboard, or draw the raffle, it isn't a quiet change on your dashboard — the kiosk's big screen takes it over, and every guest holding their phone sees the same thing at the same time.
You run all of it from the Live side of your Event Day tab. One tap, one confirmation, and the room turns to look.
The moments
Reveal the trivia answers. The correct answers go up on the big screen, and each guest who played sees their own score on their own phone. Tap again to hide them if you revealed too soon.
Reveal your occasion's games. Guess the birthday star settles once you've entered today's answers, with the closest guesser on top. Who knows them best plays the guest of honor's answers one question at a time. Guess the jar shows the count and the closest guess, and This or that shows how the room split — no winner. At a shower, the predictions show how the room guessed instead; baby predictions are scored when the baby arrives.
Draw the prize. The diaper raffle, Stock the bar or the prize drawing — the wheel spins on the big screen and on every phone, and lands on the winner.
They all sit in one Games list on the Live side. Which of these you see depends on what your event actually has set up — a game you haven't built simply has no button. See Games on the day.
How the raffle draw stays honest
The winner is decided once, on our side, the moment you tap Draw — before a single wheel starts spinning. Every screen is then told who won and spins to that same name.
That's what makes it a shared moment rather than a dozen separate animations:
- The kiosk and every phone land on the same winner, because there's only ever one result.
- A guest who opens their phone halfway through the spin joins the roll already in progress and lands with everyone else.
- A guest who looks up after it's over sees the settled winner, not a fresh re-spin. Nobody gets a private second draw with a different answer.
- Prizes are awarded in the order you listed them, by the draw itself.
Winners are saved to your event, so the same name is in your raffle manager the next morning.
Screens catch up on their own
Nobody has to refresh anything. The kiosk and the guest phone pages check in every few seconds, and speed up while a moment is playing — so a reveal reaches the room within seconds of your tap, wherever people are standing.
If the venue wifi hiccups, screens simply hold their last picture and catch up when it returns.
Clearing the big screen
While something is projecting, the Live view shows a strip reading On the big screen now with the moment's name and a Clear the big screen button.
Clearing takes the room off that moment and returns the kiosk to its tiles. It does not un-reveal anything: the trivia answers stay revealed, the winner stays drawn, guests keep what they've already seen. It just ends the spotlight — which is exactly what you want when the raffle is over and dinner is being served.
You rarely have to press it after a raffle, though: when you draw from the kiosk at the party, closing the ceremony — or simply tapping back to the tiles — takes the room off the draw on its own. The button is there for the times you want the spotlight gone before you've finished with the panel.
To actually take a reveal back, use the same reveal button again (it reads Hide once something is revealed). Hiding also clears the spotlight everywhere within a second or two, on phones that were opened after the reveal as well as during it.
Where guests see it
- The kiosk — the big screen at the door or on the TV. It stops showing tiles and gives the moment the whole display.
- Every guest's phone — the event-day page they opened from the QR shows the same reveal, plus anything personal to them (their own trivia score, their own raffle codes).
Guests never get the host side of this. Revealing, drawing, and clearing are yours.
Common questions
Can a guest reveal answers or draw the raffle? No. These controls live on your signed-in dashboard. The kiosk's own host actions sit behind your 4-digit kiosk passcode. A guest holding the tablet can't spoil anything.
What if I tap Draw twice? You draw twice — a second winner, from the remaining tickets. The first winner stays won. There's a confirmation step before each draw for exactly this reason.
Nothing happened on the big screen. Check the kiosk is actually open on that device (Setup → Open kiosk), and that it's the event's own day. If the screen has been dark a while, give it a few seconds to catch up.
Do guests need to be on the wifi to see a reveal? They need some connection — the venue wifi or their own data. Anyone offline sees it as soon as they're back.
Can I rehearse a reveal beforehand? You can open the controls early with Open the controls, but a reveal is real the moment you tap it. Practise finding the buttons, not pressing them.
Where's the record of what I revealed? In the audit log at the bottom of Live mode — every reveal, hide, draw, and clear, with who did it and when.
