Settings is the one place to see — and change — how your event runs. Every setting on your event is reachable from it, showing what it's set to right now. Some of them also live inside their own module (the cap is in Password & Capacity too, the FAQ switch is in FAQ too): those are the same switch in two places, so a change in either one shows in both.

Open it from your event's top row, or from the Settings tile on Home on a phone.

What's in it

The door. Who can reply, and what happens once you're full: the headcount cap (it counts guests and the plus-ones they bring), plus-ones, Pause new RSVPs & changes, the page password, Only guests on my list can RSVP, and door passes. Three numbers sit on top — people coming, seats left, and how many are on the waitlist.

The clock. Your event's time zone. Your date and time say when, not where, so this is what makes automatic reminders go out at 10 AM your time and keeps the run-of-show, the live quiz and the seating reveal on your day. If you haven't picked one, Settings says what happens instead (reminders go out at midnight UTC) and offers this device's zone in one tap. It never sets a zone on its own.

Sending. A scheduled send (with Send now and Cancel), the Share button — your link, a live QR, the printable poster — and a way into the editor. While Only guests on my list can RSVP is on, the share tools tuck themselves away.

Reminders. Automatic notes to the guests who haven't replied. Each one is a line — when it sends and the first words it says; tap it to change the timing, the message or the guests it goes to. Send now asks before it emails anyone, and always sends the words on screen. Lower plans hold three reminders. Below them: Email me about RSVPs — every reply, a daily summary, or in-app only — and one read-only line for the nudges you send by hand from Home (Nudges sent by hand · 1 of 3 used), with Open Home. Nudges are counted apart from reminders; the $2.99 unlock on Nest and Hatch makes both unlimited.

Modules. Every part of your guest page — FAQ, Quiz, Ask, Timeline, Photo Gallery, Menu, Seating, Song & Music, Voice note, Gifts & Funds and the rest — with whether it's on, what it holds ("3 questions", "Add your first question"), and an Open button into it. Modules with a single switch can be turned on or off right here; the ones that ask a setup question first (the gallery, the menu, Ask, Quiz) open their own window to do it.

Event Day. How the check-in screen, the door and the big screen are set up — the kiosk passcode, door passes, hidden screens and announcements — with a way into Event Day.

Plan & billing. Your plan and the seats it holds, the upgrade path, the Never pause my RSVPs switch, and your receipts. A draft says it has no plan yet (you pick one when you send); the top plan says there's nothing to upgrade.

People & after. Your co-hosts and the thank-you after the party, plus Downloads.

Cancel event. For the owner only. It closes replies and stops everything still to send, and can email your guests once. It can't be undone — see Canceling or deleting an event.

Common questions

Do changes in Settings need a save button? No — each control saves the moment you change it, exactly as it does in its own module. Typed fields (the cap, the time zone) save when you leave the field or press Save.

I changed something in a module — will Settings show it? Yes. Both read the same setting, so the next time Settings loads it shows the new value. Two windows open at once can't undo each other either: each one only sends the setting you touched.

Can my co-host use Settings? Yes — a co-host runs the day-to-day with you. Only the owner controls the money (upgrades, auto-upgrade), cancels or deletes the event, manages the co-host list, and chooses which RSVP emails land in their own inbox. See What co-hosts can and can't do.

What happens to Settings after the event? Once the event has wrapped it becomes a keepsake: you can still read every setting, but the door, the clock, reminders and module switches stop changing.
