Every reply lands on your host desk. Here's how to read it.

Steps

  1. Open your event's Guests & RSVP tab. From your host desk, open the event and go to Guests & RSVP.
  2. Read the RSVP pulse. A row of counts shows On the list, Attending, Maybe, Declined, and Awaiting, each with its share of the list. These count replies — a party of four that said yes counts once. Home's summary uses the same five counts as the Guests tab.
  3. Filter by response. Tap any of those counts to filter the list below — for example, tap Awaiting to see who hasn't replied yet.
  4. See the details. The list shows each guest's reply, their party, dietary note, table and meal choice where you asked for one. The summary line under the title counts heads: 10 on the list · 13 people coming, plus-ones included · 2 awaiting a reply — the same "people coming" number your capacity limit, Home and Seating use.
  5. Heard back by phone? Open the guest's row and, under Record their reply, tap Attending, Maybe or Can't come — it counts exactly as if they'd replied themselves.
  6. Watch your headcount meter. Once you've sent, a meter shows how many seats are spoken for against your plan's size.

What your guests will see

Guests simply open their link and reply — yes, maybe, or no — and add any plus-ones or meal choices you asked for. They never see your host desk.

How you'll hear about replies

By default you get no RSVP emails; replies appear in the app and ring the bell on your host desk. To hear about them by email, open your event's Settings, go to Reminders (the Reminders chip on the Guests & RSVP tab takes you to Settings), and pick a choice under Email me about RSVPs:

  • Every reply — an email each time someone responds.
  • Daily summary — one email a day rounding up the day's replies, with the attending, maybe, and declined counts. It only sends on days there's news.
  • In-app only — no RSVP emails at all (the default).

The emails go to the event's owner, so only the owner can change this. Whichever you pick, replies always show on this Guests tab — the setting only changes the emails. When a guest changes their answer, the activity log keeps both: what they said before and what they say now.

Limits and important details

  • New replies show when you open or reload the Guests tab. While your host desk is open, the bell lets you know as they come in.
  • Your plan counts guests at the door, so plus-ones count toward your total. Every plan includes a free 10-guest cushion.
  • If your list grows past your plan's size plus the cushion, new replies pause until you upgrade one size — and you pay only the difference.
  • To chase the guests who haven't replied, see Send a reminder.
