The activity log is your event's history: every reply, message, photo and guest extra, and everything you and your co-hosts did, newest first.

Where to find it

  • On your host desk, open Menu and choose Activity log (under Planning & tools).
  • On Home, The event pulse shows the latest few lines; its link at the bottom opens the full log.
  • The bell at the top of your host desk shows what's new since you last looked, with a link to the log at the bottom.

What it shows

Lines are grouped by day. When your event has a time zone, times show in it; otherwise they show in your device's.

  • Replies — first replies, changed answers (changed their reply to no · Was yes), party-size changes, people who joined your interest list, and invitations that bounced (with Fix). Replies under the same name within a day of each other fold into one line — replied 3 times — with Review, so you can check your list for duplicates.
  • Messages — what guests sent you and what you sent them. A message to many guests at once is one line.
  • Photos & voice — photos guests added (with Review when some wait for your approval) and voice messages they recorded.
  • Guest extras — song picks, bring-list sign-ups, named answers to your Ask questions, and what guests did in your occasion's essentials: games they played, wishes and advice they left, and letters they sealed into a capsule. The line says that they took part; the essentials window shows the rest. A sealed letter stays sealed until its day.
  • Event day — arrivals, walk-ins added at the door (one line each) and your announcements.
  • Host actions — when the invitation was sent or scheduled, reminders and nudges, thank-you notes, co-hosts joining or leaving, and a co-host's changes to your gift wallet handles. When InviteBird support takes one of these actions, or posts an announcement, while helping you, the line names InviteBird support instead of you.

Use the filters at the top to see one kind at a time — each shows how many lines it holds, and only kinds with activity appear. Show older activity at the bottom loads the next page.

Who can see it

You and your co-hosts. Co-hosts see the same log, except the lines about co-host invitations, which stay with the event's owner.

What it never shows

  • Answers to questions you made anonymous — not even that someone answered.
  • Your conversations with InviteBird support.
  • Your guests' email addresses, except the address you invited as a co-host, which only you see. An address inside a message preview reads (email).
  • When a guest opened your invitation. That's in Analytics.

Limits and important details

  • The log stays open after your event.
  • The bell shows guest news only — not your own actions, and not what you or your co-hosts did as hosts. Those are in the log under Host actions.
  • To get RSVP emails as well, see Track RSVPs.
