To send an RSVP reminder in InviteBird, open your event's Settings → Reminders, choose Add reminder, and set the timing and message. Leave Send automatically ticked to schedule it, or use Send now to send it immediately. Reminders reach only guests who haven't replied and have an email on file.

If you need to send the original invitation again to one guest, use Resend invite instead. See Resending invitations and sending nudges for the differences and limits.

Before you begin

Reminders are available once your invitation has been sent, since there's nothing to reply to before then.

Steps

  1. Open your event's Settings on your host desk and go to Reminders. (From the Guests & RSVP tab, the Reminders chip at the top takes you there.)
  2. Tap Add reminder. It opens straight into its own editor. The counter at the top of the card shows how many you've scheduled.
  3. Choose when it sends. Pick a preset — 7 days before the event, 3 days before, or 1 day before — or choose Custom… and set your own number of days.
  4. Write the message. Use the Insert chips to drop in the guest's first name or your event title; they're filled in per guest when the reminder goes out. An optional tag filter narrows it to guests you've tagged.
  5. Leave "Send automatically" ticked and it goes out on its own at that time. Untick it and the row shows Paused — it stays in your list but waits for you.
  6. Send one right now with Send now inside the open reminder. For a quick follow-up without a schedule, send a nudge from Home instead: the Do this next card's Nudge action or the RSVP tracker's nudge chip. Nudges are counted separately from reminders; Settings → Reminders shows their count read-only (Nudges sent by hand · 1 of 3 used).

Your reminders sit in the card as a short list — when each one sends, and the first words of what it says. Tap any row to edit it, or Remove to delete it.

What your guests will see

Guests who haven't replied get a short, friendly email reminder from you with a link to RSVP. Only guests who haven't answered are contacted — anyone who already replied is left alone.

Limits and important details

  • Reminders are sent by email only, to guests who have an email on file. A guest you invited by text won't receive one.
  • On Nest and Hatch, each event gets up to 3 automatic reminders and, separately, up to 3 nudges. Flight, Soar, Open Sky, and Horizon include unlimited reminders and unlimited nudges.
  • On Nest or Hatch, a one-time $2.99 unlock for the event covers both: unlimited nudges and unlimited automatic reminders.
