About this design
This Sweet 16 invitation rolls the guest straight into a neon-lit roller disco night. The card is set on a bright turquoise rink floor with a hand-lettered hot-pink script name, a bold yellow slab-serif age numeral, and a row of glowing multicolour string lights strung across the top. Memphis-style geometric confetti — triangles, zigzags, stars and dots in cyan, pink and yellow — drifts across the artwork, and a classic quad roller skate with pink wheels frames the corner. It is the look of an 80s roller rink party card, drawn as flat retro vector art with comic pop-art energy. The matching guest page continues the night: a dark rink atmosphere with drifting neon shapes, a countdown styled as one admit-one ticket strip, a punch-notched hero frame, and an RSVP stub with a perforated edge and a self-drawing star seal. Perfect for a 16th birthday, a retro-themed milestone party, or any teen who loves roller skating, neon colours, and throwback dance music. The invitation works for a rink party, a backyard disco night, or a neon dress-code celebration at home. Pair it with bright dress-code wording, a roller rink address, and a playlist of 80s favourites to complete the theme. Hosts can personalise the name, date, venue and message before sending.
