Once your invitation is live, you can share it with a single link — text it, drop it in a group chat, email it, or let guests scan a QR code. Anyone who opens the link sees your invitation and can RSVP.

Where to find the Share option

On your event's host desk, tap Share. It opens a dialog with everything you need:

  • Your invitation link, with a one-tap Copy link button.
  • WhatsApp — opens WhatsApp with a friendly message already written; you choose who to send it to.
  • Share… — on phones that support it, the system share sheet, so you can send the link through any app.
  • A live QR code guests can scan straight off your screen with their phone camera — great for group chats, flyers, or passing a phone around the table.
  • Download printable QR — a print-ready QR you can add to a sign or a paper card.

The Share button appears next to Guest view once your invitation is live.

The link opens your invitation for anyone who has it — they see the card, your details, and can RSVP. It's the same link behind every way you invite people: whether a guest arrives from your emailed or texted invitation or from a link you pasted into a chat, they land on the same page, and their reply is matched to them by the email or phone number they use. See How RSVPs work.

Sharing vs. sending invitations

There are two complementary ways to get your invitation out:

  • Send invitations delivers them to your guest list by email and text, and is how payment and delivery tracking work. See Send your invitations and Email and SMS invitations.
  • Share link hands out the same invitation to anyone, anywhere — perfect for a group chat, a last-minute add, or people you don't have contact details for.

Many hosts use both: send to the core list, then share the link for stragglers.

Your invitation link becomes live when you send — a draft doesn't have a public link yet, which is why Share and Guest view only appear after sending. Until then, use the Review step to preview everything (see Preview your invitation).

Common questions

Where's my invitation link? On the host desk, tap Share. The link is at the top of the dialog with a Copy link button.

Can anyone with the link RSVP? Yes — anyone who opens the link can view the invitation and reply. They're matched to your guest list by the email or phone they use. If you'd rather keep it private, add a password from your event settings.

How do I share it on WhatsApp or by text? Use the WhatsApp button in the Share dialog (it pre-writes the message), or Copy link and paste it into any text or chat. On phones, Share… opens your system share sheet.

Can I print a QR code for a sign? Yes — tap Download printable QR in the Share dialog to get a print-ready code.

Is the link active before I send? No. The link goes live when you send. Before that, preview on the Review step.
